HOW DID MEL GET INTO CAR SHOWS?

In 2012, as the 2011 Clearfield County Fair Queen, Mel was allowed to hold a fundraiser of her choice and she chose a car show! Since 2012 (as the start of 2024) Mel has held 47 car shows and raised over $265,000 for charity!

HOW DID THE SHOWS GET THE NAME "MEL'S CAR SHOWS"?

Years ago while passing out flyers a dear family friend handed a flyer to a friend and they asked "Hey Turk, who's show is this?" and Turk responded "It's Mel's Car Show. You know, Frank's daughter Mel? One of her shows." And "Mel's Car Shows" was named.
